Other Food Benefits

  • This meal finder tool can help families find locations serving meals to children. Participating in these meal services does not prevent eligible children from getting P-EBT benefits.
  • Contact your local school district to learn about free meal site locations in your area.
  • Families can go to washingtonconnection.org to see if you qualify to get Basic Food benefits.
  • Families with younger children may qualify for the Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) program, which provides food assistance to children up to the age of 5 and pregnant and breastfeeding mothers.

**Update 8/19/21: P-EBT benefits may be continued into the 21-22 school year.  Please turn in a free and reduced form this school year to make sure you are eligible for benefits.

**Update 6/24/21:  Because school was back in session for all students full time in April, there is no April-June P-EBT benefit that will be downloaded on the cards.  However, there will be a SUMMER P-EBT benefit in the amount of $375 for the summer that will show up on your card in mid-July.  You may continue to turn in a Free and Reduced application to the FS office (1001 6th Street) even though school is out for the summer.
**Update 4/15/21:  Free and reduced data was uploaded for February and March.  You will NOT get a new card, these benefits will automatically be re-loaded on your current card.  You may still be waiting on the September - January benefit cards.  If you haven't received these yet, you should receive them soon.

Due to the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19), the federal government launched Pandemic EBT (P-EBT) as a new option in the Families First Coronavirus Response Act. Pandemic EBT provides food benefits to eligible families in order to replace meals that students would have received, if not for disruptions to in-person instruction or school facility closure.

Pandemic EBT benefits issued in May – August of 2020 were meant to replace meals from school year (SY) 2019–20. Pandemic EBT "2.0" will provide food benefits to replace meals missed during the 2020–21 school year. Schools will play a vital role to ensure eligible Washington students receive these benefits.

Clarkston School District is participating in this option for families.  Click here for our District family letter explaining P-EBT.

Please make sure and apply for Free and Reduced Price meals and make sure your address is correct with the District.
