** New for school year 2014-15, the wellness policy and procedure was updated based on the public meeting and subcommittee input, along with the new rules and regulations in regards to the HHFKA (Healthy Hunger Kids Act) 2010.  The board of directors approved the final reading of the policy on September 8th.  To see our Wellness Policy, please click here.
**A public meeting was announced and held on April 29, 2014, to discuss our current wellness policy and new upcoming changes as indicated by the Healthy Hunger-Free Kids Act of 2010.  All former members of the wellness committee were invited and media releases were executed to get concerned community members and staff a voice in the wellness policy.  Participants were limited but we did get some good feedback from those who came to the public meeting.  We are now in the process of revising our policy and procedures to match upcoming regulations and what we are currently doing in the schools.  Tentative dates to get board approval on the new policy would be in June or July of 2014.
**We conducted an online survey in April and May 2014 to evaluate our current wellness policy and nutrition program.  If you would like to see the results of our online wellness survey, please click here.
