CSD WiFi During COVID-19

The Clarkston School District is committed to “going the extra mile” during this unprecedented Spring semester.  One area of importance identified by CSD staff, students and families to help ease the burden during the school closures is public access to Internet services.  One way we are providing Internet access to our community is by increasing the WiFi signal in our district parking lots.  Our public network, CSD Guest, has been enabled during the day to allow Internet access to the community for educational purposes.  This will allow our community members the ability to connect any mobile device to our WiFi network.

CSD Guest WiFi Connectivity Guide

  1. Power on your mobile device (i.e. tablet, laptop, etc.)
  2. Navigate to your device’s WiFi Settings and select CSD Guest:
    1. Apple iOS
    2. Apple OSX
    3. Android
    4. Windows 10
    5. Chromebook
  3. During the connection process or after completed, you may see a message like ‘Your connection is not private’ or ‘Cannot verify server identity’, you will want to select the option to accept, continue or proceed to the webpage.
  4. You will be connected to an Aruba Network login page.  Enter your email address and select Log In
  5. You will see a message explain that in 10 seconds you will be redirected to a new screen.
  6. Once at your new screen, you may see a “This page is not available right now’ or ‘Web Page Blocked’, disregard that message and close that window.
  7. You are now connected to CSD Guest.  Launch a web browsers and navigate to a webpage.
