DECA at the Capitol     DECA 

Clarkston DECA attended the 2019 Ultimate DECA Power Trip Leadership Conference in Washington, DC. November 13-17, 2019. Twelve - third and fourth year DECA members attended this leadership conference which featured two nationally acclaimed speakers, learning labs, and college and career exhibits, as well as touring the many sights of Washington DC. Students and advisors were fortunate to meet with the Representative from the 5th District, Cathy McMorris Rogers to discuss the committees on which she is serving and how that affects Washington State, and then received a personal tour of the Capitol Building. DECA students who attended were: Jenna Allen, Wyatt Auer, Esther Dotson, Avery Elmore, Gia Gonzales, Emily Haddock, Jacey Hernandez, Nicolas Noland, Jacob Nissen, Nicholas Scholfield, Emerson Snyder, and Airyl Sobotta with Advisors Lynn Carey and Margie Denton.
