The Clarkston School District Board of Directors is seeking applications from qualified community members to fill the vacancy for Director District No. 3. The Board encourages interested patrons to apply for this important leadership position.
To be eligible, applicants must meet the following requirements:
Be a U.S. citizen
Be a registered voter
Reside within the boundary of Director District No. 3 (a map of the district is available online at https://www.csdk12.org/page/board)
Written Description of Director District No. 3 Boundaries
The boundary for Director District No. 3 begins at the Southway Bridge and 5th Street, then follows a path north on 5th Street to Highland Avenue, west on Highland Avenue to 12th Street, north on 12th Street to Libby Street, west on Libby Street to 15th Street, and south on 15th Street to Scenic Way. From there, it continues westerly along Scenic Way to Old Vineyard Ditch, meandering south to Peaslee Avenue, east on Peaslee Avenue to 13th Street, south on 13th Street to 24th Avenue, and east on 24th Avenue to Post Lane. The path continues southeasterly on Post Lane to Riverside Drive, then southwesterly on Riverside Drive to the school district boundary, following the boundary counter-clockwise back to the Southway Bridge, and northwest on the bridge to the point of origin.
