Clarkston, WA — August 19, 2024 — The Clarkston School District is pleased to announce that all students will be served meals at no charge during the 2024-25 school year as part of the National School Lunch Program and School Breakfast Program.

Although meals are provided at no charge, the district encourages all families to complete the
Child Nutrition Eligibility & Education Benefit application. This application may qualify families for additional benefits such as Summer EBT, reduced fees for various programs and activities, and help secure essential funding for the district.

Who Should Apply?

Families should complete an application if:

  • The total household income is the same or less than the amount listed in the income eligibility chart.

  • They receive Basic Food, participate in the Food Distribution Program on Indian Reservations (FDPIR), or receive Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) for their children.

  • They are applying for foster children under the legal responsibility of a foster care agency or court.

Applications should be turned in to the school office. Only one application is required per household. Families will be notified if their application is approved or denied. If a child is homeless, migrant, or a runaway, the appropriate box should be checked on the application.
