As part of our ongoing commitment to student safety and well-being, we want to share an important update regarding your child’s online experience.
Clarkston School District has partnered with Qustodio, a trusted platform that supports families and schools in promoting healthy and safe use of technology. While your child’s school-issued device already has internet filtering in place to block inappropriate content—something required by federal law—we’re now taking an additional step to support families at home.
We’re pleased to provide each parent/guardian with a free Qustodio Parental App account. This tool allows you to view your child’s online activity on their school device and gives you the option to monitor and manage other devices in your home as well.
With Qustodio, you can:
• Set limits and manage screen time
• Monitor online activity
• Access resources through Clarkston School District’s Online Safety Hub
In the next few days, Qustodio will email you instructions to set up your free account. To get started sooner, go to https://auth.qustodio.com/en/my-school.
Please be sure to use the same email address you’ve provided to the school so your child’s device can be linked.
We’re excited to offer this additional support as we work together to help students build responsible digital habits. For more details, expert tips, and helpful resources, visit the Clarkston School District Online Safety Hub at https://csdk12.onlinesafetyhub.io/.
Thank you for partnering with us to keep our students safe online.
