The Clarkston School District is in the process of adopting a new Reading and Writing curriculum for grades K-6. Samples of the curriculum that are being proposed for adoption by the curriculum committee will be available for parent preview on May 21st at 6:00 pm at the Highland Elementary School Conference Room, located in the main office building. The address is 1432 Highland Ave. We welcome your attendance to learn more about and give feedback regarding the proposed adoption materials. The Boys & Girls Clubs of the LC Valley will all be CLOSED on Friday, April 12th for their After School Program only. Families need to make alternate plans for after school. Thank you.
Third grade families. Remember, all 3rd graders will have swim lessons at the Asotin County Family Aquatic Center Tuesday - Friday this week. Students should have a swimsuit and towel with them each day.

Capital Projects Levy - The new Capital Projects Levy that will be on the April 23, 2024 ballot, authorizes a three-year levy for infrastructure, safety, and health improvements. The estimated tax rate per $1,000 of assessed property value is $1.00. The purpose of the Capital Projects Levy is to finance capital improvements to support learning environments such as upgrading heating and cooling systems, repairing roofs, improving flooring, and asphalt and concrete.
